CS5NRA is the Call Sign to PORTUGUESE NAVY HAMRADIO CLUB.

  1. Club was born in 2002 July 27 by decision taken by of a navy group of radioamateurs;
  2. At the moment we are some tens of members but only part of us are active;
  3. In the begining we had call sign CQ5MGP. Seven years after due to great changes to the law, in June 2009, this call sign has passed away and was replaced by CS5NRA which is now in force.

Our traditional Activities:

  1. Portuguese Navy Day Contest; Naval Radio Party; Portuguese Museum Ships Weekend; Lighthouse activities; Castles and Museums activities; Exporadic emissions from CS5DFG which is a very old Museum ship and others...
  2. Portuguese Navy Day Contest happens every year on the weekend before, after or including May 20th. See concerned regulations at our Webpage at http://www.nra.pt

QSL Information

  1. All callsigns concerning to activities under responsability of NRA are to follow CS5NRA QSL instructions;
  2. Received QSL Cards without IRC or Green Stamps will take long time to be answered;
  3. No Lotw; 
  4. E-QSL was acepted in the past. Actually there is nobody to run it, so it is not being used. In case you try to use it, please consider you probably will not getv any answer.
