CS5NRA is the PORTUGUESE NAVY HAMRADIO CLUB's callsign.

Our Club was born in 2002 July 27 by decision  of two it's members.

Since then, the Club has organized several events, like the annual "Portuguese Navy Day Contest", (always in May) among many other events.

In the begining we had call sign CQ5MGP for special events. Due to great changes to the law, in June 2009, the call sign CQ5. was replaced by CS5NRA which is now in force.

Portuguese Navy Day Contest happens every year on the weekend before, after or including May 20th. See concerned regulations at our Webpage at http://www.nra.pt

For any other question please E-Mail us to nra[at]nra.pt
