Hola Amigos:

Para mi es todo un orgullo estar en esta afición desde el año 1969 de la mano de mi abuelo D. Manuel Fernández Padrón, pionero de la radio y que, tuvo entre sus amistades personales a Nikola Tesla y Albert Einstein , durante su estancia laboral en Estados Unidos.

Todavía conservo en pleno funcionamiento su linea Drake TR-4C y, muchos libros de los comienzos de la era de la Radio de 1907. También tengo un cuadro pintando a carboncillo de un retrato que le hizo a Einstein y , hoy está colgado en el salón de mi casa.

Desde muy pequeño, siempre me dejó muy claro que el verdadero inventor de la radio fue Nikola Tesla. La historia de este descubrimiento, NO es como muchos han contado.

Nikola Tesla, utilizó la radio e hizo una demostración pública en el lago del Central Park de Nueva York , en la Electrical Exhibition Fair el 8 de Noviembre de 1898 , "teledirigiendo" o "radiocontrolando" una maqueta de un barco.

Todo esto fue diez años ANTES que Guillermo Marconi, se auto proclamara inventor de la radio. Una total y gran mentira. Toda una inmensa falsedad.

Marconi utilizó doce (12) patentes e inventos de Tesla para conseguir cinco (5) años despues de Tesla, su prueba de TSH.

Tanto es así que, la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos de America ,en 1943 ; reconoció este error histórico y rectificó ya que la legitima patente de la invencion de la radio es propiedad de Nikola Tesla. Han pasado muchos años y, actualmente sigo pensado que Marconi fué un "aprovechado " y no un iluminado.

Lástima que la historia de la radio y su inventor NO se haya contado con su total veracidad.

Con respecto a que " otros " se adjudicasen logros e inventos de Tesla, él en un congreso cientifico de 1908, dice su famosa frase: ". No lamento porque me hayan robado mis ideas ; más bien me entristezco porque no tengan las suyas propias."

Gracias Nikola Tesla por compartir esos maravillosos momentos con mi abuelo y que siendo yo niño; él me contaba la verdadera historia de la RADIO.

Estas líneas son mi personal homenaje a este gran , desconocido y humilde inventor que ha iluminado a este mundo. Gracias a su inventiva, hoy podemos darle a un interruptor y encender la luz eléctrica que él descubrió.

El tiempo pasa y, me considero un RADIO OPERADOR modesto pero, nieto de un muy gran RADIOAFICIONADO.

I'm very proud of being in this hobby since 1969 thanks to my grandfather Manuel Fernandez Padrón , pionner of the radio and who had among his friends Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein during his stay in the United States for labour reasons. I still keep his Drake TR-4C working properly, and many books about the beginning of the era of the radio, some of them are from 1907.

I have a charcoal portrait of Einstein, painted by my grandfather, wich is today hanging in my living room.

When I was a child, he made it clear that the real inventor of radio was his friend Nikola Tesla. The history of this discovery in NOT as it has been told by many.

Marconi used Tesla's 12 patents an inventions to achieve, 5 years later, his famous proof of CW .

Nikola Tesla used the radio in a public demostration in which made a wireless remote-controlled boat navigate in a pool at the Central Park  in New York, at the Electrical Exhibition Fair of the 8 November 1898.

All this happened ten years before Guillermo Marconi declared himself to be the inventor of the radio. A complete and great lie. A real fake.

So much so that the Supreme Court of the United States of America in 1943 admitted this historiacal mistake and rectified as the legitimate patent of the invention of the radio was Tesla's one. Many years have passed and I currently keep on thinking Marconi was an opportunist and not a visionary.

Regarding the fact that " others" awared themselves Tesla's achievements and inventions, he quoted a famous sentence at scientific congress in 1908 to say: " . Didn't regret the fact other took my ideas as theirs but, they didn´t have their owns . "

For this reason, these lines are my personal tribute to this great unknown and humble inventor.

Thanks Nikola Tesla for sharing those wonderful moments with my grandfather, being a child he told me the real story of your invention, the RADIO.
