Many thanks to all who contacted the station. It will be a while before I work out the final number of contacts made.
There was some great dissapointment regarding lack of operators. But thanks must go to Ray G7TAS and Mike 2E0YYY for their enthusiasmand to Jim G0EJQ for his attendance.

It was nice to meet Les Munro from New-Zealand and Mary (Dr. Sir Barnes Wallis's Youngest Daughter) on Sat 18th May.

The next planned operation will be:
On Thursday 28 May, to cover the final day of operation.
Operation Chastise was made up of RAF 617 Crews Association members with
their families and a group of RAF Re-Enactors at Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre
Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May. A Wartime AM broadcast was also
available whilst on site, or via the internet on:

It has now been confirmed that Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre. (The venue for the Dambusters Radio Rally).
Will be operating GB617SQN for the 70th anniversary of the dams raid, during the month of May 2013.
To start on the weekend of the 3rd May 2013 to coincide with the Dambusters Radio Rally 5th May 2013.
