It breaks my heart to tell a ham (who only needs Connecticut for WAS or Hartford County for some county award) that he/she worked me in Massachusetts. Thanks!

Kickin' some serious RTTY butt -- K1SFA at K1TTT in the 2012 WPX RTTY Contest (M/1).

I consider myself very lucky -- as ARRL News Editor, I get to work with Amateur Radio all day. On the weekends, I get on the air. I usually operate from K1TTT in Peru, Massachusetts. And no, contrary to what you might have read on the RTTY reflector, I do not think I can walk on water, leap tall buildings in a single bound or vanquish Rodents of Unusual Size. I'm just a YL who happens to love RTTY contesting and yes, I'm proud of my accomplishments.

IARU President Tim Ellam, VE6SH, proclaimed me The RTTY Goddess^TM in 2009. When one bestows such a title on you, you graciously accept (and make it your QSL card)!

I earned WAS and WAC in the 2009 RTTY Round Up (as K1TTY), and WAS and WAC in the 2009 BARTG Sprint. In December 2010, I had confimation #100 for my DXCC (both RTTY #2662 and Mixed #44,388). All six of these awards were earned in contests and from confirmations via Logbook of The World (LoTW).

I also operate M/M from K1TTT in the ARRL International DX Contests and the CQWW Contests (both CW and SSB). You can also find me on the air for the New England QSO Party (NEQP) and IARU World Championships. Call signs vary, but we have used K1TTT and W2PV for the DX and WW 'tests, and K1TTT and NE1QP for NEQP. I also operate M/M from K1TTT (using NE1C) for CQ WPX SSB.

I am trustee for the Fr James P McCaffrey Memorial Radio Station (KB1RLY). I'm a member and secretary of the Laird Campbell Memorial HQ Operators Club (W1HQ) and a member of the Newington Amateur Radio League (NARL). I am an ARRL Life Member and also a member of the British Amateur Radio Teledata Group (BARTG).
