Receive-only "base" now, as I spend most of my radio time monitoring .gov, .mil, .com, etc.  Places I can't transmit anyway.  Airspy (24 MHz to 1.7 GHz), and the Ham-It-Up converter for the rest of HF.  I use about any software I can get my hands on, much of it found here.

  • Wouxun KG-UV6D Pro (@QTH)
  • SIRIO SD 2000 Discone Antenna, 100 MHz-2 GHz
  • Dell Venue 8 tablet with RTL-SDR.  Used mostly for general receive, spectrum analyzer & remote rig control. (@QTH)
  • Home-brew PC, Intel i7-870, Windows 7, Radeon HD6850, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 2TB SATA, Dual-monitor. (@QTH)
