Receive-only "base" now, as I spend most of my radio time monitoring .gov, .mil, .com, etc. Places I can't transmit anyway. Airspy (24 MHz to 1.7 GHz), and the Ham-It-Up converter for the rest of HF. I use about any software I can get my hands on, much of it found here.
Other gear I use:
Wouxun KG-UV6D Pro ( @QTH)
SIRIO SD 2000 Discone Antenna, 100 MHz-2 GHz
Dell Venue 8 tablet & RTL-SDR. General receive, spectrum analyzer & remote rig control. ( @QTH)
Home-brew PC, Win10, Intel i7-870, Nvidia GTX960, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 2TB HDD, Dual-monitor. ( @QTH)
www.remotehams.com, where I do most of my HF transmitting now. Thank you hams for sharing!
Comar SLR350N for AIS (ship tracking). Sirio GP3 antenna. Station info here. ( @QTH)
ADS-B (aircraft tracking) RadarBox, Station PGANRB300152. ( @QTH)
