Greetings from Pocatello, Idaho. I was first licensed as a teenager back in about 1958 or so and let the license lapse while I was in the USAF in Vietnam. Finally relicensed again in 2009 and picked up my original call sign. Current equipment includes: Yeasu FT-897D Transceiver with companion AT-897 tuner Yaesu FT-8900 VHF/UHF FT-840 transceiver (backup) with an MFJ-993B tuner FT-2800 2 Meter VX-3R HT 2x Wouxhun HandiTalkies (great, cheap handhelds) I have a G5RV Jr. mounted on the roof which operates pretty well on 40 and 20 meters. Also have a 2 meter J-pole in the attic which works quite well. I QSL 100% . direct preferred. No need to send an SASE! More about me on my personal blog at www.rnsmith.com
