Licensed since 1957 and active the entire time. I work both CW and SSB - mostly on 80, 40, 20 and 17 meters. I can be found on the Breakfast Club on 3973 in the morning and the Upper Peninsula Net on 3921 and GM Net on 7277.5 in the afternoon.

My winter QTH is at Lakewood Ranch, FL, east of Sarasota.

During the summer, I can usually be found at our place in Charlevoix County, MI - in the northern part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The 6 acres in the woods at the MI QTH allow a lot of space for antennas.

My current rig is an Elecraft K3 and an AL-811H Amplifier. I currently use 40M and 20M M Dipoles, an 80M horizontal loop, a W5GI all band antenna and a 15M vertical ground plane in Michigan.

In Florida, I use a remote set-up to operate the K3 with all the antennas in Michigan. I also have a TS-440SAT and a Par End Fed 20M dipole at the Florida QTH.

I enjoy participating in emcomm activities with the Sarasota County ACS organization. I am a part-time contester and belong to the Florida Contest Group (FCG).
