Greetings to All!

My name is Ed.I have been involved in Public Safety since 1976.My interest in radio began when in Grade School.My father bought a multi band radio and along with a World Atlas I began to travel the world via the air waves-little has changed since!I am still interested in SWL and in particular MilCom's and clandestine communications especially number stations.I am a member of the ENIGMA2000 Group.

My first exposure to Ham Radio was also during Grammar school when a friend brought me in his house to see his dad's radio,I was impressed to say the least.Later in life my long standing involvement with various Emergency Management Agencies again brought me closer to Amateur Radio.Well I was biten by the bug and here I am.Weather is also another pasion of mine and was able to combine the two.

My discipline is the Plymouth County Sheriff's Dept. www.pcsdma.org There I serve as a Deputy Sheriff and EMT since 1984.Also,I am a member of the Town of Acushnet E.M.A.,I serve as a RACES Operator and SKYWARN Spotter. www.acushnetema.com and a member of the South Coast Massachussetts Amateur Radio Group. www.SCMARG.org.Where I am a radio of some kind is not for away.Whether it be a scanner,amateur handheld or a hazards radio!
