I beleive we are all in this hobby to have fun and support the community in their times of need and to get others involved with ham radio. If you are in this hobby just for fun - that is ok. If you are in it to support Emergency Communications - lets try to WORK TOGETHER for the GOOD of the community by not slinging mud. We MUST put personal feelings aside. Proper postage is (1) 0.46 cent stamp for return mail in USA and $2 USD for return mail overseas. Who We Are: KC2YYL is the Niagara County Special Events Radio Club. We support non-governmental organizations and special public events for communications needs. The Niagara County Special Events Radio Club uses the N3AU repeater system consisting of the following repeaters:443.925, PL of 151.4 + offset, 442.575, PL 107.2 + offset, and 224.420, PL 107.2 - offset and echolink. The Niagara County Community College repeater is open for general communications unlessa Net, drill, or emergency is in operation. All licensed amateurs in the US and Canada are invited and encouraged to use the repeater for local QSO's. We also have a HF/UHF/VHF station at NCCC ready for disaster communications with all mode capabilities.
The Red Cross repeater at Niagara County Community College on 442.575,PL107.2 with a + offset has a wide coverage and is designated to serve ERIE/Niagara County Red Cross operations, preparedness, and training.
THE ONLY NETS THAT WILL OPERATE ONTHE NCCC REPEATER WILL BE A RED CROSS DIRECTED NETS. ANY OTHER PROPOSED NET ON THIS REPEATER MUST SECURE PERMISSION BEFORE OPERATION BEGINS. SUCH PERMISSION MUSTBE GRANTED IF ALL THREE TRUSTEES ARE IN AGREEMENT. THE TRUSTEES ARE ROBERT NEUFELD (N3AU); JOHN TITTA (AC2DD);JAYE STURTEVANT (K2ZT); AND DARREN (AC2IN).
