First licensed in 1958 as a Novice, KN1DMG.After working some good dx on cw,I upgraded to K1DMG, built a 6146 transmitter, and later a 4-400 amplifer. Worked lots of cw, then built an audio amplifier, four 811A's and ran 800 w AM. SSB was next with a DK Weaver 3rd method phasing circuit(1957 IEEE Proceedings). I've been ham active ever since as N1ZZField Day, CQWW, ARRL DX, lots of awards, world wide winner Bermuda contest. Spent 40 years in electro-acoustics Engineering R & D. President of Audio Engineering Society. I am the past owner of West Mountain Radio - Home of the RIGblaster, RIGrunner, PWRgate, CLRspkr. Now I am retired. I'm a member of Carribean Contest Consortium, PJ2T operator on Curacao. I like DXing, Top Band, CW, contesting, and am on HF daily. I am QRV for QSO's.
