Hello! I am John, N6HI. I make my home in Phoenix, Arizona, where summer temperatures have hit 122 degrees F, but the winters are warm, allowing for winter hiking in the mountains without "winter" clothing! I am a dedicated QRP enthusiast, and have operated 100% QRP - 5 Watts or less - for the last ten years. I particularly enjoy hf QRP backpacking, often hiking in the mountains around Sedona, Arizona, and also mountains near my home in the Phoenix area, working QRP portable from the mountain tops! I also enjoy QRP mobile, and like to chase DX and ragchew on CW Mobile . I've even been known to pick up a microphone from time to time, but CW is my favorite!
