Live in Vancouver,Washington. My wife and i love to travel and are both ham operators. She is KD7VNZ. Other interests are classical music, history and the piano/violin/cello. Japanese shakuhachi, language and Wabi Sabi.Collect and use fountain pens,Omas and other Italian pens in particular. Dress vintage 1920's-40's. Favourite bands are:all of them!!! Especially 20m,17m ssb and psk31.

QRP is my main attraction.Radio is a Kenwood TS-2000,Icom IC-735 and GR5V jr dipole, half of which is inside my apartment. Am heard sometimes on 6m,2m and 70cm ssb and cw QRP.

I enjoy all the HF bands minus 160m(only due to antenna constraints) and hope to find a better way of getting a QRP signal out.

I'm a  VE and hold an Extra class license. Been licensed since early 1985.

Am also a member of the Clark County Amateur Radio Club and Clark County ARES as well as the Pacific NW VHF Society.

Repeaters used are 147.24,146.84 on 2m,223.94 and 224.36 on 220, and 440.775 on 70cm.
