Dick Foote, VE1HK, became a silent key on 14 dec. 1996. The Sydney Amateur Radio Club

had his callsign, VE1HK, assigned to its 146.940 (-) repeater in his memory. Dick will always

be remembered as a good friend and an ambassador for amateur radio.
