I operate from Pocatello, Idaho, and Spearfish, South Dakota.  Almost exclusively CW, but do include a little PSK-31 from time to time.

Licensed since 1956. Career Army officer in tanks, infantry and parachute cavalry in Europe, Central America and Asia. Taught at the US Military Academy, West Point. As an "extra duty" was in charge of the Cadet Amateur Radio Club and station W2KGY. Later, Professor of Foreign Languages at Idaho State University. Now: Retired again, doing welfare work in South America, foundation boards, Rotary and AF&AM.

Special event stations NØC (Geographic Center of the Nation, 2007, see ARRL archives), NØB (125th Anniversary of Black Hills State University, 2008), WØWN/911 (self-explanatory) and WØWN/WALL(20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, 9 Nov 09).
