This island is becoming more and more difficult to activate so no wonder why it is locally called, 'Mission Impossible' as it certainly takes after it's IOTA reference 007 - EU-007 that is!!

'''''BERE ISLAND''''', IOTA EU-121, July 2008 & June 2006. Using 100W and a Windom Antenna.'EJ' is the prefix used in Ireland for stations operating from off shore islands.

'''''BERE ISLAND''''', IOTA EU-121, September 2008. Due to a failed attempt landing on EU-007, we were able to activate this one again. Using 400W into various antennas, over 2000 QSOs were made on this trip. EJ9FBB, EJ5GM, EJ4BZ & EJ/G4AXX were the operators on this trip and we do have every intention of attempting EU-007 again in the near future.

Please send QSL's to my home call, EI9FBB, any way you choose, Direct, Buro, e-qsl or LOTW. If sending direct, please include $2 or 1 New type IRC for prompt direct return. NOTE : All QSO's from June '06 and July 2008 operation have been QSLed via buro already. A special Full colour, Double sided, QSL card will be printed for all 'EJ9FBB' operations, which will be valued by any serious IOTA chaser.

Most operations will be during the summer months, focusing mostly on the low bands-( 40M, 80M, & possibly 160M ) however ( 20M,15M & 10M )will also be used frequently. A sked can be arranged but not guaranteed as no internet on Island.
