This island is becoming more and more difficult to activate so no wonder why it is locally called, 'Mission Impossible' as it certainly takes after it's IOTA reference 007 - EU-007 that is!!

'''''BERE ISLAND''''', IOTA EU-121, July 2008 & June 2006. Using 100W and a Windom Antenna.'EJ' is the prefix used in Ireland for stations operating from off shore islands.

'''''BERE ISLAND''''', IOTA EU-121, September 2008. Due to a failed attempt landing on EU-007, we were able to activate this one again. Using 400W into various antennas, over 2000 QSOs were made on this trip. EJ9FBB, EJ5GM, EJ4BZ & EJ/G4AXX were the operators on this trip and we do have every intention of attempting EU-007 again in the near future.

Please send QSL's to my home call, EI9FBB, any way you choose, Direct, Buro, e-qsl or LOTW. If sending direct, please include $2 or 1 New type IRC for prompt direct return. NOTE : All QSO's from June '06 and July 2008 operation have been QSLed via buro already. 

Most operations will be during the summer months, focusing mostly on the low bands-( 40M, 80M, & possibly 160M ) however ( 20M,15M & 10M )will also be used frequently.
