DXpedition of DG7RO to North-Belize, Consejo Shores, Corozal District

Some operating tips:

  • Normaly I will work split, so do not call on my transmitting frequency.
  • please use --> "full-call" <-- only, this speeds up working you
  • don't repeat your call if I got it correct; if you do so I assume I got it wrong
  • If I did not get the full callsign I will call only the partial part -
if you do not have these letters - listen and do NOT transmit again

2014: QRV 5. - 19. Feb

Rig: FT857DSP 100W
Ant:: 80,40,30: bracing wire to 27 m height mast, end-fed; dipole for 10/15/20, and for 30/17/12, almost salt ground

ARRL-DX. Sorry for my bad CW decode in pileup: I use a decoder which decodes best at high speed > 28wpm. Slow speed does not work. Even 3 or signals on top will tangle the decoder. BUT I want to give a perhaps new DXCC to you. So be indulgent and do not bash me ;-) .

QSO-Upload to LOTW and clublog: trying on a daily base as time permits (logcheck at bottom of page)

Some additional impressions:

Relaxing...

Short after the WPX-RTTY-Contest I startet to call on 10m....Did all the callers missed the contest???

2012: 4. - 26. Feb

Rig: FT857DSP 100W
Ant:: 80m and 40m: each monoband dipole; 30m-10m: 2x15m tuned dipole

Will try to work much on WARC bands RTTY and SSB. Entry in cqwpx-rtty contest will be done with V31RU

28.2.2012: QSOs uploaded to LOTW. If you are sure you worked me but the QSO is not confirmed, please contact me - could be that I got your callsign wrong (include date/time/band/mode).

15.3.2012: 75 direct QSL cards sent out

01.05.2012: bureau cards sent.

After this the WARC-Bands are activated and also the classic bands with SSB, RTTY, SSTV

2011: We made some trips through Belize and Guatemala so time goes by and there was only limited time for operating. The sun at midday causes a rise of noise on the bands so that QSOs are not possible. In the afternoon and evening the pile-ups started. Thanks for calling - I am happy if I can provide you a new DXCC on band or mode.
