welcome! I'm a lover of DX, and radio comunications. I'm graduate in engineering of telecomunications and computers and I'm studing now for Master degree in engineering of electronic and telecomunications in Universidade de Aveiro, DETI , I love it! I wakeup and think about Radio Frequency (RF) and go sleep at night and dream about RF. I just started in PMR446 band and jumped to HAM BAND with the objective to take contact with RF and meet that RF will have to give me and learn more and more about them and the phenomena of propagation radio waves, etc.

I have a project named: Tarzan! Tarzan is a complete project of repeaters that was born in jungle, on top of mountain! It was born in year 2011, and has undergone major developments! This project besides the repeaters, has a ADS-B receiver for aircraft traffic, and AIS receiver for marine traffic!

Please see: http://tarzan.sytes.net/Virtualradar/

I'm owner, and technical responsible of a DMR repeater in "Serra do Arestal" located in Aveiro District, with callsign: CQ0DTRZ. This repeater is Hytera RD625, a industrial repeater! Freq: 438.3125 Mhz, offset: -7,6 Mhz

I'm owner and technical responsible of a analog repeater also located in "Serra do Arestal", with callsign: CQ0UTRZ. This repeater is home made, with 2 Motorola GM340. Freq: 439.175 Mhz, offset: -7,6 Mhz.  In future I will make a MMDVM multimode digital repeater!

More information about these projects, please visit this website: https://www.facebook.com/tarzan.grupo/

I'm administrator of D-Star Gateway CQ0DOA, located in Oliveira de Azemeis.

I'm transmitting Internet via wireless @ 5Ghz to "Serra do Arestal" (21 Kilometers) with -61dbm of signal strength. The equiment is: 2 Ubiquiti Airgrid M5 HP.

I'm operative on all ham bands. Actuality I have a dipole antenna for 40 meters, in the tower. My tower have 20 meters hight, above the ground.

My equipment is Yaesu FT 897 for HF and all others. I have two Dstar equipment: Icom ID 5100 for mobile operation, and Icom IC92 for portable operation.

My DMR equiment is: 1 Motorola DP4801, 1 Motorola SL4000, 1 Motorola DP3400, and 2 Motorola DM4601 for mobile operation.

I also have a Yaesu FT-7800 as dualband base operation.

Sometimes I operate ham satellites but I'm just a starter. I love satellites, I Love space and Astronomy!

In VHF-UHF operation I have antenna:

-Diamond x510 VHF-UHF at 25 meters above ground, more concretely in a 5 meters mast above tower, as show pictures.

-Quad cubic directive antenna 12 elements 4,5 meters of boom, and 15dbd of gain, in horizontal polarization.

Near of antennas I have a remote switch with relays, with 4 positions.

The cable for VHF and UHF is Andrew heliax 1/2'', and the cable for HF is aircom plus

My think is: "little but very good quality!" and "with the time I'm growing"

73's and good luck from
