CT7AGR

Hello, thank you for visiting my page on QRZ.com!  I am a Dutchman that lives in Lisbon, Portugal.

Because my wife had various operations and still is recouperating, I am inactive since february 2017. Hopefully I can come back soon.

Since 27 November 2016 I am member of FISTS club, #18093.

Update: 4 October 2016: today I received the ordered straight key from Begali. Model "Spark". Immediately (from Rome, Italy) I went to try it. The "spark" is a "heavy weight", so it does not easily move over the table top. Feels good in using. I am happy with this new "handpump".

From 17 September until 4 October 2016 I was active from Rome, Italy, using the callsign: I0/CT7AGR.

Update: 5 September 2016. Since today I am a member of the SKCC, #16088.

Since the end of March 2016 I am also QRV in DMR mode with a Hytera PD785G, DV4mini and Raspberry Pi 3B. With thanks for the help, advises and hints from Jorge, CT1JIB. Sometimes also using a 10 elements Yagi for 70cm to reach the DMR repeater CQ0UCSC (Cascais). My DMR-ID is: 2683056.

On Saturday 18 April 2015 I had my first SOTA experience. Invited by CT1DBS and together with CT1BWW our national SOTA coordinator I went to the "Cruz Alta" in the National Park of Sintra, Portugal, SOTA ID: CT/ES-002 (538m). Here some impressions of CT7AGR/P:

Update 02 March 2015: received my new Raspberry Pi 2 B last friday. Installed the Dutch 3star distro on it. It is working fine as a DStar Hotspot. Controlling it from a Windows desktop PC with a VNC client. See the following images.

Update 02 February 2015: today managed to get working my DVAP 440 dongle which is connected to a Raspberry Pi model B.

Update 03 December 2014: Since the evening of 29 November 2014 back at my home QTH in Lisbon.

Today installed in the small but wide veranda of our appartment a pivot-base for my Buddistick GP antennna.

I0 / CT7AGR

I was in Rome again from the 9th of July 2015. I stayed in Italy until the 18th of August 2015.

I took my KX-3 with me a BuddiStick and AlexLoop antennas.

Update 26 November 2014: today I received and installed my new Begali "Adventure" squeeze paddle for the KX3. See image.

Update 5 November 2014.  Since today I use an Elecraft KX3 portable QRP rig, with a BuddiStick vertical antenna, with which I was active from a temporary QTH in Rome (East), Italy

as I0/CT7AGR until 29 November 2014.

CT7AGR

End june 2012 I moved to live in Lisbon, Portugal. From 16 august 2012 I have also a Portuguese HAM license, callsign: CT7AGR. I started with activities on 2mtr and 70cm. I hope to become active on HF soon.

PJ2PS, PJ4PS

My 1st HAM license I got in 1969 on the island of Curaçao, using the callsign PJ2PS. With that c/s I was very active in CW. Among other awards I managed to get there the 5BWAS award (nr. 64) issued by the ARRL. During the CQ WW DX CW contest of 6 and 7 June 1970 I was active from the island of Bonaire with the c/s PJ4PS, together with some collegue radio-amateurs from Curaçao island.

PAoPSK

From 1972 until 2000 I was active from The Netherlands with the callsign PAoPSK. I was inactive from 2000 until summer 2012. In may 2012 I requested and got re-opened my HAM-license under the callsign PAoPSK.

Best 73´s,

Paulus
