My home QTH is the City of Neuss with its over 2.000 years of history. The city was founded by the Romans in the year 16 before Christ. In those days it got the name Novaesium.
On my QSL card you can see the Roman tribune Saint Quirinus (mounted onto the dome top of the famous Sankt-Quirinus-Basilika church and patrone of the city), a portion of the medieval city map and the current coat of arms.
I use to operate JT65, PSK31 and SSB. Sometimes you can find me on CW. I don't use to operate D-STAR anymore ... It feels like cheating ... Like Internet chat ...
Most of the time I operate portably.
