Short curriculum vitae
- SWL since around 1966.
In May 2013 i started digital mode with my first d-star handheld id-31e .
Now i own a id-880e, id-51e an ic-80e and a red dongle for 70 cm.
The dongle allows me to operate from home with my handheld in house.
The next d-star repeater is too far away to operate with handhelds.
My favorite reflector is REF006C where my friends are still qrv.

On December, 31st 2015 BC-listener had a very sad day.
The last german AM Broadcast stations left the AM Bands.
Now we have only a few private low power AM stations.
We are disappointed not to be able to sit with the radio at sea listen to news from Germany.
Radio directors say you can hear the nautical weather reports in the digital broadcasting ( no digital BC transmitter is near our seaside - min 50 miles ) or the Internet ( lots of internet access points in the wide northsea are waiting >> lol > Har Har ).
.... for they know not what they do....
- I am collecting and practical testing portable Shortwave-Receiver.
