Hello folks,

I´m Peter and I´m living in Hannover, state of lower saxony, in the northern part of Germany.

In 1980 I passed my exam and received my VHF license. Finally in 1981 I upgraded to HF privileges (CW exam with 13 wpm) and since that time I have been active with the callsign DL4LAM.

I´m a member of the German Amateur Radio Club (DARC), Kiel-Nord (DOK M31), member of GDXF, DIG and ARRL.

My interests are DXing and contesting on HF. So I joined the Bavarian Contest Club (BCC). As often I have time I operate from Kiel as a guest operator at the station of my brother Steve, DL6LSM.

My wife is Hava, DO5HO . I´m happy she is interested in Ham Radio and gives me great support.

Since 2005 I have been responsible for DQ5T as a trustee. This call was and will be used for contesting and other activities, e.g. during 2010 we commemorated the 30th anniversary of our local radio club Kiel-Nord, M31, part of Deutscher Amateur Radio Club e.V. (DARC).

In 2011 I got DN2DL as a Novice call for education purposes. This call allows operation for non-licensed trainees and this concept allows interested people learning by doing operation (of course under control of DL4LAM).

I hold an US license, K4RI, and work as a volunteer examiner for ARRL VEC in Germany and in the UK I hold M0HAN as reziprocal callsign .

QSL is sure via QSL card (DARC qsl buro in Germany) or LoTW, which I prefer more and more. Clublog is another modern database I´m using.

73 de Peter, DL4LAM

P.S.: Clublog offers a nice feature to check if you are "in my log"
