Hi,

thanks for the QSO. The antenna is a Fritzel 4 element fivebander mounted on a aluminium tower integrated in the house´s roof of my relatives close-by, where I QSO mainly during weekends. During high wind periods, the antenna can be brought down by an electrically operated "sledge".

Behind the house there is a W3DZZ used for 80/40 mtrs as well as a shortened trap dipole for 160 mtrs.

Today, in the shack there is an ICOM IC 7300, a YAESU FT 90 for VHF/UHF and an Acom 1000 linear.

Today I concentrate mainly on HF-operation.

Since 2009 I have a second shack at my second QTH in Herdecke:

Again mainly Icom with IC 7100, IC 7700,  IC E 80D for D-Star

and an old Alinco DR 570 for UHF/VHF

...  with a UK made Sandpiper Multiband Vertical  and a good view towards the south !

Have a look on the older days around 2005....

The times of satellite-operation ....with X-Quads, elevation of antennas etc...

And my second hobby is caravaning in the summer-period:

With an old IC 706 MK2G and various portable antenna-setups according to site.

Hope to work you again.
