My name is Wilfred. I`m living in the small town Breckerfeld in the near of the Ruhr area (Ruhrgebiet).
I´m interested in ham radio since 1985. In the first time, until 1994, I work alone on 11m band using some digi modes
Following was a large break until 2014. In 2015 I got my "big" A-class licence. Special thanks and greatings therefor goes to the "Funken Lernen"-Team for the exellence support!!

Mostly you can find me on 40/20/17/15m Band doing QSO´s in Europe or trying DX in SSB. My average output is between 40 an 80 watt.
I`m using PSK and OLIVIA MFSK, too.

Breckerfeld is a small (population: 8.900 citizen) town in the district of Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis, in North Rhine-Westphalia, (Germany). It is located in the southeastern-most part of the Ruhr area in northern Sauerland. Breckerfeld has had town rights since 1396 and was a member of the Hanseatic League. Breckerfeld is a rural community in a hilly area (highest point: 442m, my QTH 398m). The weather around the city is generally cool with a substantial amount of rain.
