Hi, Stu here. Obtained my licence in 1979 thanks to a close friend Gordon, G3WOV - a great elmer. I have operated sporadically since then as G4IYK/M/ZE in 1980 and then DA1CY, DA2DI in Nienburg\Weser Germany. Now located in Gravesend, Kent. The shack is mainly computerised these days and comms are mostly via WWW. but I enjoy listening and studying digital modes. I am a regular participant in the Royal Engineers Amateur Radio Netsand manage their radio branch website.

D-Star has made an appearance here and I am keeping the shack open in the hope one day I can use it to its full glory. A Clansman PRC 320 manpack, and the VRC 321 HF Groundstation pictured here was added to the line up in 2010 and are used unmodified, primarily on 5Mhz.

Right now, work and family both keeps me busy - 73 de Stu
