First licensed in 1978 with callsign G8PWX and passed Morse Test in 1982 and got my present callsign G4PEC. I spent most of the first 30 years on VHF and above with homebrew amplifiers and transverters for 70cms and 23 cms using an Icom IC 202S and retired in September 2009 aged 65.

Recently purchased the Raspberry Pi 3 and have it connected to a DV-Mega gmsk node with the Pi running the Western D Star image provided by GW6WTK, set up screen shots available from my website here... http://www.frasersoft.com/Raspberry Pi/pi.html

Now active on D-Star using a homebrew rig consisting of a Arduino 2560-Mega and the Ambe 3000 pcb which is connected directly to the Internet via my Broadband Router connection.

I have a simple website consisting mainly of useful links which can be found here... http://www.frasersoft.com

The picture is of Tynemouth Beach on a sunny winters day.
