The title picture with me sat at the front,is an event at WaW Northcoates Airfield with the Grimsby Radio Club. My interest in radio started as a S.W.L by MY grandfather a R.N. Captain Tom Weir he had a battery powered ships radio, i took a long time to take the license first as a G6 before passing my morse for the full ticket, as member of Worksop amateur radio club i did a lot of work on their clubhouse ..see the enclosed pictures.. i am have been married to marjorie for over50 years with i boy and two girls. I moved to Grimsby from from Worksop 5 years ago after retiring from the private school i worked at after having a bad accident. I joined the Grimsby radio club and rekindled my interst in radio.most of the time operating was on VHF and UHF i AM a member of RAYNET group for 20 years. member of THE SCOUTS RADIO SUPORT and RSGB RAOTA ISWL GARS

The pictures taken as i recovered from my brain surgery following my accident, i have included pictures of Osberton hall, i lived and worked there at Scofton airodrome the former R.A.F.worksop for 4 years....My father lived at Wall hall college, my mother is buried in the grounds there, and Workop college where i worked.
