Voice Over IP has pretty much taken over my hobby!

Dstar is provided by a Beagle Bone Black running ircddb for callsign routing using a DVAP for the RF interface.

DMR joins the shack using a DVMega and Raspberry pi 2 and MMDVMhost software

IRLP is served up via node 3468 on another HP thin client using an Alinco DR-135 for RF

Allstar 29272 is on a Beagle bone black and UHF Icom F-221

On HF my main rig is an FT-847 into an AT-11 tuner and a G5RV jr at about 30 feet.

LOTW is my preffered QSL mode and I update all my logs there. eQSL a close second.

Winmor, PSK and FreeDV are some of the modes I use on HF

After moving to Ohio I traded my Alaska Call KL0AD for a vanity call.

I Retired from the Coast Guard as a Chief Boatswain's Mate (BMC) after 24 years of service, now I am 18 wheels moble 4 days a week to pay for the radio hobby!

The picture is of my circa 2001 station in Ketchikan, Alaska, maybe I'll get a new one up there soon......

Here is the current VOIP set up in the basement:

And a previous version
