Hello and thank you for visiting my page.
I have all my life been interested in radio, but it was in 2009 I became a HAM operator.
I am QRV on all HF bands, 2 / 70, in addition to DSTAR, Echolink, Fusion, DMR and APRS.
Usually I operate from my home QTH in Oslo JO59jw, but I also work remote from the noise-free North Odal JP50uk, 100 km north of Oslo, where I have a setup with the Kenwood TS-480SAT, Hari Windom antenna and Remoterig RRC-1258MkII - a setup that works very well and can be recommended.
More about RemoteRig here- www.remoterig.com
During the weekends I travel so often I have the opportunity to our cottage in Orje JO59tk, 100 km East from Oslo near the border to Sweden. Noise-free, good space, tall threes and with the help of Oymarksjoen it is very good radio conditions.
Now also remote from Orje, with the simular equipment as from JP50uk - works very well
Currently I use the following equipment:
Icom: IC-E92D IC-7100 IC-910H
Kenwood: TS-480SAT TS-590SG
Yaesu: VX-6E VX-8DR VX-8GR FT-2DE FT-757GX FTM-350R FT-8800E FT-857D FT-897D FTdx-5000MP + DMU2000
Acom 1000 Ameritron ALS-500
Daimond: CP-6 HF X-50 X-300 VHF/UHF
Hari: W3DZZ Windom 160-10m
SteppIR: BigIR 80 - 6 meter with 1500 m of radial system
One of my favorite interests when it comes to radio, is Field Day activity.
For that reason, I join in LA1FDG Field Day Group.
Please read more about LA1FDG on the Facebook (unfortunately only in Norwegian)
