My name is Erlend an I am 26.
I got my licence in may 2013.
I have not bought my own HF yet, so at the time being I am operating out of the group station(LA1N).
There I use a Yaesu FT-450 with a 3 element beam, rotatable 360 deg.
Usually i do not turn on the amp, so fore the moste time i send with 100W, witch with the beam, seems to be sufficient.
I'm mostly on 20 meter, sometime on 40 or 80 meters.

Some facts about Narvik, my hometown.
Narvik is ca 1000 km from Oslo, the capital of Norway(in air).
We re some 340 km north of the polar circle, with means that at summer we have sunlight 24/7, and around christmas we have only an hour of daylight every day.
At first my interest was mostly on the short distance side, 2 meter and 70cm. When I got my licence, I tried the 20 meter, it is was so much fun so now i want to work as many stations in as many countries as possible :)
