Born 1953, Licensed 1970.

QTH Langhus: small town, about 18 km's south of Oslo (Capital). About 15000 inhabitants.

Topography: rather flat, no mountains or other obstacles. Ideal for small antennas and low power.

Stations:

HF- rig #1: Kenwood TS-590s. (main station, installed in home shack)

HF-rig #2: ICOM IC-7100 (intended for camping/holiday traffic)

HF-rig #3: Heathkit HW8 QRP/CW. Old and worn, but still in operational order

HF-antennas:

#1; - 30 meter long wire, not very high up;

#2: 6-band vertical from MFJ, mounted on my balcony, about 5 meters above ground. 

VHF/UHF: 

Rig #1: ICOM IC-E80D, FM & Dstar

Rig #2: ICOM ID 5100, FM & Dstar

Rig #3: ICOM IC 7100 (intended for camping/holiday traffic),all-purpose

Rig #4: YAESU VX8-R. FM

Rig #5:  YAESU FT2D, for FM & system Fusion (2m , 70 cm)

Antennas:

Diamond X50N dualband,

Homemade GP for 145 MHz,

Cushcraft 4-elements yagi for 6 meter.

Tonna 9 elements yagi for 2 meter aurora.

MFJ 1796, 40 - 2 meter vertical

22 m LONG WIRE

Modes of operation: preferring CW, RTTY , Digimodes. Occasionally SSB, FM local and D-Star.

Ambitions: learning new modes of operation, maintaining my skills, having a good time with ham radio. I will never obtain DXCC, and I can live well with that.

Other interests: woodcarving, woodturning, woodcraft in general (got workshop in basement)
