I was licensed as LA4SGA from january 16th.1988 to december 17th. 2013.

My call sign is now LB2EG.

I have been active from several QTHs on the norwegian mainland since I was licensed in 1988; Voss, Bergen, Oslo, Tromsoe, and now Stavanger. I do also operate from our second home in Sirdal from time to time.

I am only active on HF,  80-10 meter. Morse code is my preferred operating mode.

In my home shack I use a Flexradio Flex-6300 transceiver, and an Elad FDM-DUO QRP transceiver. The antenna is an Inverted-L.

At our second home I have a small Shack in the Attic: Kenwood TS-590SG, with an Elad FDM-S2 SDR Receiver as a SubRX, using N4PY software to sync the units. I also us an ANAN-100 SDR transceiver. The amplifier is an ACOM 1010. The antenna is a Fritzel FD-4 Windom.

Since november 2017 I can operate my Second Home shack remote, using a Kenwood TS-480 and the RRC-1258 MKIIs boxes from RemoteRig.com. At the radio end I use a 4G modem. This setup works very well, on all modes.

I use UcxLog (www.ucxlog.org) for logging, and Fldigi when operating on digital modes.

I do upload my logs to LOTW, CLUBLOG and EQSL. I do not send paper QSL unless requested to do so. If you want a paper QSL, just check that you are in my log, and notify me. I will then send you a card via the Bureau.
