Callsign: M6MGQ

Home QTH: Basingstoke, Hampshire, England UK

Name: Paul

I obtained my M6MGQ call sign in 2014 after passing my Foundation License Exam at my local radio club in Basingstoke.  I have spent a huge fortune on radio's over last few years, and have wasted so much money trying to find the radio that suits me.  I would not like to count the amount of times I have been back to the local radio shop and made an exchange.

Digital & Analog Modes

Due to problems with large amounts of interference near my home QTH I am not able to use HF modes.  I maninly use VHF and UHF FM and now also use Dstar, Fusion and DMR.  I have numerous radios and equipment around the home and am always looking into the next thing I can buy.  So yes I am a compulsive spender!!

This is a picture of my shack that has been set up in
the corner of my lounge.

This is my selections of handheld radio's.

I also have a DVmini to enable me to access some of the digital modes at home, as I am beyond the reach of most of the digital repeaters in the area.
