Born in Rotterdam just two years before WWII started for the Netherlands, and Rotterdam my town off birth was bombed.

Got my first licence in 1971 (PE1DFX) and my full licence in 1981 and got the call PA3DRU.

Twice a yaer I am in de states in the good city off Independence MO.

and most off the timeI am QRV onDstar via W0CW or on watch in FM via K0TEK.

My home town nowadays is Den Helder located in the most Northwestern part of The Netherlands just SSW off the island TEXEL.

Due to restrictions by the landlord on antenna's my activities on hf are somewhat low, however during the I.L.L.W. I will be on the museum lightship "TEXEL" the special event call in use will be PA6LST. The event will always be held in the last full weekend of August.

Tools: Drake TR7a, Yeasu FT 857, Yeasu VX 3 , Icom ID-880H Dstar (dtmf 9409), Homemade tuneable vertical and  a homemade balanced wide band tuner

I am registered on Dstar, normaly I will be on DSC007B via Dstar repeater PI1DHD

On VHF my standby freq. is 145,550Mhz
