Had my first experience with amateur radio in 1989 when i bought a Danita 27MHz mobile radio.
A few years went by, and in 1996/1997 i attended a course at Foreningen Umea Radioamatorer FURA, after exam i got my call and bought me a Kenwood 2m allmode - as i had a T-certificate i was only allowed on 144MHz and up.
In the early 2000:s the demand for CW disappeared and i got to be on HF as well.
Three children came along from 2004 to 2006 and the time for ham radio became sparse, went QRT in early 2015.
From february 2016 i am QRV again and this time with an Icom IC-7100 and long wire.
Work as an electrician, but mostly at the office - have had the same employer since 1991.
Five children aged from 9 to 23.
The oldest son is working at an asylum for children from war zones.
The oldest daughter study at college, and the three younger attend grades three (twins) and five.
We have a male Bison Frisee dog, and a female domestc cat of unknown breed.
Drive a VolksWagen Passat -15 and a Opel Meriva -06.
Live in a villa with 196m2 living area and a garage with 42m2 crammed with stuff.
