I received my M6 call-sign in 2014 after completing the Foundation course and exam at our Elstree Amateur Radio Club (E.A.R.S) which was arranged by our chairman Chris G0WTZ. In 2016, I received my 2E0EZK after passing the exam at (E.A.R.S) as well.

The two instructors were John G8SYD and Andy M0CFM. I have been interested in Radio Communication for over 40 years and have owned most of the Icom receivers including the Icom R9000.

In 1979 I started my 1st Job as a Laboratory Technician mainly physic and electronics and studying part-time at Paddington Technical Collage.

In 1986 I joined the Civil Service working for NPB (Non Departmental Public Bodies) which is still my current job.

My radio setup at the QTH is an Icom IC-7100, IC-7000, Adonis AM-708E, LDG IT-100, Diamond SX-1000, QJE PS23SWI along with a non-grounded dual band 2m, 70cm collinear and a 4m Dipole antennas from a 1st floor flat and. I also have use the Yaesu FTM-400DE for Fusion and the Icom IC-5100E for Dstar.

HF antennas setup TBC. I also use the RT System Software to program my radios.

I also have a SBS-1 and Uniden UB800XLT receiver for monitoring Air and PMR.

Mobile setup I use both my Icom IC-5100E, Icom 51E  and Yaesu FTM-400DE in my 4X4. I am interested in all aspects of Ham Radio.
