The World Bank Group Staff Amateur Radio Club uses 4U1WB, one of the few call signs issued by the United Nations. Our club’s aim is to promote public service, whenever possible, particularly in emergencies, and enhance international friendship and understanding. Please do not send your QSLs to the operator's home QTH or the World Bank address. QSL requests sent via the bureau to our QSL manager, KK4HD, will be answered via the bureau. Direct QSL requests will be answered as long as sufficient funds for return postage are provided. QSLs sent without adequate funds for return postage will be answered via the bureau.

The club is not part of or an agent or affiliate of the World Bank. It is an association of staff members of the World Bank Group. The World Bank Group assumes no liability or responsibility for the activities of the club.
