Thanks for looking me up. Must mean that we have either spoken or you have heard me on the air.

Only got my licence in February 2012 and have been enjoying Ham Radio ever since.Have always had a love for radios having spent much time on 11m back in the late 70's early 80's. Back then I had a Yaesu FT101ZD and a three element beam from Radio Shack.

Today I operate an Icom 718 and the antenna is a 80m full loop up about 30 feet. The mike is a Heil ICM and to make sure the antenna is doing what it is suppsed to, a MFJ-949E. I am about 380 feet above sea level and just over a mile away from the Caribbean Sea.

My other hobbies include fishing, shooting and motorsport. I have fished in all of our local tournaments as well as tournaments in Tobago, St. Lucia, Martinique and Grenada. We have hadn two second place finishes in the last couple of years. With regard to shooting, I was the manager of Shooting, for Barbados in 2000 at the Sydney Olympics. Walking into the stadium the night of the opening ceromony will always be one of the most memorable occasions of my life. Not every day that you have over 100,000 people cheering for you at the same time.

I have been involved in motorsport since 1981. I have a long and illustrious career and still compete to this day. I am the silly guy that sits next to the driver and tells him what to do and when to do it!!. In the last eight years we have been competing mainly in stage rallying. Six of those years were in a Ford Escort mk2 and the last two have been in a Mitsubishi Evolution 9.

February 16, 2013. Hygain TH3 MK4 along with a CD 45 rotor are up and working thanks to the helpof 8P6NW, 8P6AT and Phil. Really makes a big difference in getting through a pile-up!!

Please feel free to have a look at the newly upgraded website ot the Amateur Radio Society of Barbados at www.barbadoshamradio.com.

Below is FUZZ my other operator. She is very chatty when she is ready.

Below is a Mitsubishi Evolution 9 that I am the co-driver in.

Fuzz keeping an eye on me.

Feruary 07, 2016. Thanks to the help of 8P6AP and 8P6NW the new hex beam and rotor are up and working. The antenna was really easy to build. Took me longer to clean the fiberglass and paint it than it did to assemble!! Look up k4hex.com for the antenna. Highly recommend it.
