I am Zbig, sp5btb. I was working in Sierra Leone for UN from 2001 to 29 March 2012.

Lately I decided to visit 9L land and I will be active from Sierra Leone from 25 October to 10 November 2013. It is a one man no sponsors DX expedition.

I plan to use slopers for 20m and DL special collinear delta loop (ON6WG /F5VIF model) for 15 meters.

As always the real life verified our plans: I planned to use 20m sloper which could be switched to NA or JA-EU direction - once erected , SWR was almost 1:2 so I decided to make one sloper for 20 m directed to NA and 17m one directed to JA-EU. Since guys I asked to buy material for masts bought me six "bushsticks" (you can buy dozen or a halve of it) I had two spare ones and I built the inverted "V" for 30m....

If you noticed that during QSO suddenly my signals disappeared it means that power line was gone!! Sorry about that. Generally I had power from 7pm to 3am from generator or from 7pm to 6.45am from National Power Authorities.

Thank you for all contacts and friendly attitude"on the air" and expressed in your e-mails.
