Thank you for looking me up!!!
I received my Extra License in January, 2013.
I've explored and enjoyed various digital modes, but opted to spend more time on CW to improve my CW skills, so I'm almost 100% CW.
I have a keen interest in building receivers/transmitters/antennas from scratch, leaning heavily on the ARRL Handbook, ARRL Antenna Book, and the book "Experimental Methods in RF Design", by Wes Hayward, Rick Campbell and Bob Larkin.
I can be found on 10 - 80 meters, using either one of the RockMite transceivers from Small Wonder Lab, one of my own units built from scratch or an Elecraft KX3. I can also be found on D-STAR using an ID-51A connected via DVMega/Raspberry Pi 3.
I've been pursuing the art of building antennas and have been exploring end-fed, dipole, linked dipoles and magnetic loop antennas... building 6m/20m/40m/80m/6-80m in countless numbers of varied configurations. It's been fun and rewarding!
