Icom 718. HF. Inverted-V G5RV antenna. Apex is 35 feet in a maple tree.

Icom ID-51A+. D*STAR. Raspberry Pi2/DVMega D*STAR hot spot.

Yaesu FT-2900. 2 meter VHF. Mobile mag mount antenna stuck on top of filing cabinet in my office.

Yaesu FT-7900R. 2 meter/440. 5/8 wave antenna. APRS i-gate w/ a bluetooth TNC.

Yaesu FT-270R. 2 meter HT. Diamond SRJ77CA. Waterproof mic. APRS.

Yaesu FTM-400XDR. 2 meter/440. Yaesu System Fusion. Mobile APRS station. Hustler MX-270 antenna.

Various analog and digital scanners and portable shortwave radios. I enjoy searching for "unknown" utility frequencies on MF/HF/VHF/UHF.

 

You can reach me on the local 146.79 mhz WØ​GS machine during the nightly net at 8:00 PM or on D*STAR.
