Started out on the cb in the early 80,s and eventuly lost interest in that by the mid 90,s due to all the garbage. In the spring of 2009 i set up my cb station again and met a few others like me that wanted to get back into the hobby again and to my surprise several were hams. This led to me taking the technician test in December of 2009 and receiving my tech license. In April of 2010 i upgraded to General and in April of 2012 upgraded to extra I am currently a member of the Northwest country cousins, western country cousins , and The warts net ( washington amature radio traffic system) all on the 75 meter band.My staion curently consists of a Kenwood TS-520S,a YAESU FT-101,Kewood TS-130S, TS-430s, and a YAESU FT-7800 dual bander.
