Our 2015 C6A operation was from Marsh Harbor, in the Abacos, along with C6AUM (Mike) and C6AKQ (Bob).  We operated from a seaside cottage on a narrow spit of land just East of Marsh Harbor Nov. 24 thru Dec. 7, 2015. 

We returned to the same location in February, 2017, arriving on February 7 and leaving on February 21.  This time we used individual end fed half wave verticals on 30 thru 10M out on the deck over salt water.  We used a quarter wave vertical on 40 and inverted Ls on 80 and 160. Each of the three of us operated single band during the ARRLDXCW contest. C6AKQ was on 160, C6AUM on 40 and C6ARU on 20.  C6AUM and C6AKQ operated in the CQ WW RTTY WPX contest the week before the ARRL contest.

We plan on returning to the same location Feb 6-20 in 2018 and employing a similar antenna setup during the CQWW RTTY WPX and ARRL DX CW contests.  The available space at our location is quite limited but the proximity to salt water enhances the signals from our vertical antennas even though we sometimes have a good deal of interference between the stations on different bands.

Matching/loading setup  used with the 80M Inv. L on 160. We wrapped some wire around the wooden fence on the deck to get some additional loading for 160!
