JO60UW correction

Call for a sked or work me in the next SHF contest. Looking for TR and RS contacts, helpfull also the activ members and actually dates on the microwave chat (www.on4kst.org).

Also activ for the WW-FF-Award:

The hills around of the famous "Rocket" in the saxonian switzerland national park and other tops in the saxonian mountains are easely to work for GMA (German Mountain Award). Activities mostly on the weakend on 2m up to 23cm FM/SSB. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxon_SwitzerlandSee also www.cqgma.eu for Logs and activator informations.

 or

Transmitting in holiday style on mountain "Brocken" (right picture, 1142m high, in central part of germany).

My last activity in 2015: Together with DG4VW (OM Hansi) on the german "Hiddensee" island (EU-057) and especially on the UHF-band (70cm/23cm and Tests on 10GHz). 2m Yagi with fix position, direction south to my home QTH.

The result of long distance calls were exceeded by good Tropo condx in beam direction to West (any G's, ~ 965km) and to East (LY2) on 70cm/2m bands. During the UHF-Contest we had a nice 3-Band QSO with LA0BT (JO59IX), sometimes with 59++ rapport. Hope to work him also on 3cm another time from my home area, nothing heard on 3cm at this time.

Bycicle trips to the Lighthouses "Gellen" (DE0090) in the south part and "Dornbusch" (FED-026, DE0117) on the north part of the "Hiddensee" island and nice sunrices (autumn weather conditions, around 20 °C) completes the beautiful island weakend.

  Lighthouse "Gellen" (DE0090)

Also good conditions in the french contest (06-12-2015, 144 Mhz). My ODX from p/Locator JO71DO are OM F6HPP/p (821km) and a additional nice QSO with F6KID (664km, Rapport 59++).

ODX in BBT-Contest on 3cm Band: 543km with DC8TM/p & DL3SFB/p (JN48CO), RS via SCP JO50

or OE2JOM/p (JN67NT) with 429km and DL6QY (JN59BD) with 398km. Now in the rainscatter seasson i check periodicly the condition (mostly after work) to get a new ODX or Locator field..

During the DARC Microwave Contest in June 2016 i made different contacts (new Locator fields) via rainscatter mode (RS).

Currently I worked following Locator fields on 10GHz (3cm Band):

JN48,59,67,68,79,88,89,99 and JO50,60,61,62,70,71,72,80,91 (2016-06-15),   Hope to get a new one!

Rainscatter seasson 2016: Looks nice, but any time later ...............

Also possible, signal back bouncing at big airplanes, look for white strips on the sky and call to the first position.

Location JO71CO (roundview tower, "Steinitzer Treppe"), direction north west to Berlin and OZ. A small CW-Transmission (CQ-Call) in the noise level of the thunderstorm, but who is it?

2017: Now i'am also QRV on 13cm band (2 Watt out) with a transverter by LZ5HP, A nice unit und with good quality of fabrication. He works also on the uplink frequency of the arab (amsat) satellit - Es´hail-2 (Position 26° east, launch 09/2017). Performance increasing by a additional power amplifier (~ 55 watts out, @ by DG0VE) is planned. Currently i use a commercial 24dbi WLan  dish. First QSO's and some beacon receiving tests are succesfull.

Link: http://www.sg-lab.com/TR2300/tr2300.html. There you can get also a good TRV for the 23cm Band (2.5 watts out).

Just now I worked in the DARC microwave contest june on 3cm band. My location the Wolkenberg (160m A.S.L) on a old coal mining field (JO71DO). Based on good RS signals I worked new locatorfields (JN49, JN58 & JO32) for my collection.

Special thanks to DC8TM and DL3SBK.

BEST DX! and 73 de Jens
