I do not use chatrooms during contests! I dont understand the sense

of such usage. 75% or more QSO info is exchanged there, before

the real contact will be made via radio. The origin of the chatrooms

may has its roots in the non-audible EME signals which made

such chatrooms neccessary !

enlightenedenlightened Next 3W2MAE activity:  28.Feb 2018 - 6.Mar 2018 enlightenedenlightened

Last activity as 3W2MAE was between February 19th until February 25th 2017 ! Sorry missed alot of contacts due to local QRM which was constantly between S7...S9.  This time I was only using 2 dipoles and 80W !

I was QRV from Vietnam as 3W2LI / DL5MAE from 22nd to 24th of November 2013 and 14th / 15th of March 2015. QSLs are printed now!

Activity  3W2MAE  took place  17th of March 2015  until  26th of March 2015.

yes  3W2MAE  QSL cards also ready now!

Please avoid IRCs for direct QSLs... We dont have much post-offices nearby those accept IRCs. I dont like to go

30km to get rid off the IRCs. Better use the QSL buro of  DARC or just include a greenstamp for direct QSL - TNX!

"BREAKING NEWS" :  BY TODAY 24th of August 2014,   I  learned  for a complete  MOON-BOUNCE-QSO

its no longer  neccessary  to  transmit   "complete  callsigns  due to the  limitations of WSJT program ...

so using partial callsigns for that reason is fully accpetable" (statement by OE3FVU, received this by Email from him).

Russ (K2TXB) goes even further and says: "For a complete QSO its not any longer neccessary to transmit the full prefix or suffix" ! ! !  ( I got this statement also by an Email today from him).

I  DONT  AGREE  WITH  SUCH  QSO PROCEDURE!!!  Vy 73 de DL5MAE Wolfgang

I do like challenging QSOs. So I am happy working all 50 US states on 144MHz and 2m DXCC (#10) on CW/SSB before

Joe Taylors (K1JT) program(s) came into our amateur-radio-world and took out alot of fun of our hobby.

I even degraded my 2m EME station due to this reason from 8 yagis to 4 yagis (but its still enough working CW EME! ).

Please do not send QSL cards for JT65/JT44 QSOs to me! I already got some QSL requests but

I was NEVER QRV (and never will get QRV) that mode.

I suppose thats "wrong decode" or whatsoever?!

You will not find me in chat rooms for "doing QSOs" . DX spots on clusters are enough.

Please dont "talk" with me through clusters for succeed a contact.

Worked all DXCCs on HF bands since 1979.
