Antennas with vertical Rotor and qrv in WSJT eme and ms since 21st April 2006.

At 1st August 2007 I dismantled my station in JO30MP because I will move from here in a couple of weeks. Thank you for 105 initials, 34 countries and 97 squares in eme and a lot of fun!

I hope to be back on 144MHz in spring time 2008 from the other side of the pileup :-)) Keep the fingers crossed!

10.01.2008 HNY YES !!!!!! I moved to Tashkent/Uzbekistan MN41OG and got a licence!! My new call is UK/DL9LBH. I hope to get limited operation capability in spring 2008.

24.06.2008: Tower is erected and antennas (2x11el for 2m and 2x23el for 70cm) mounted, still need to get the cables into the shack, awaiting first trial operation next weekend!!

28.06.2008 First 2m + 70cm eme with HB9Q. My stn: TS-2000, BEKO HLV-750 PA, 2x11el Flexa Yagi, preamb by ssb-electronic. For 70cm 2x23el with preamp but only 50w. Since January 2009 qrv on 70cm with 2x23el Flexa Yagi, LNA 435 MK II and BEKO HLV-550.

I stayed in Tashkent until summer 2010, worked eme

on 2m: 268 initials, 46 countries and 182 squares,

on 70cm: 27 initials, 18 countries and 25 squares.

My activity was limited due to qrl, sri, and sometimes I am missed internet or electricity.

23rd August 2010 I dismantled my station and 20th September 2010 we moved to Astana / Kazakhstan, where I was lucky to represent Kazakhstan on radio with the call UN/DL9LBH. But I had to wait until May until I could build up antennas.

21.05.2011 I am back on air from Astana/Kazakhstan/MO51QD with 4x11el/600 on 2m and soon also on 70cm

20.11.2011 On 70cm I am qrv now with 4x23/500 but I can not use my Preamp because then I get some band intruders with wide FM signals.

Sorry, end of September 2012 I had to turn down my station because I had to move back to Germany on christmas thanks to my loved boss.

worked eme

on 2m: 238 initials, 44 countries and 159 squares,

on 70cm: 16 initials, 7 countries and 14 squares.

Coming back to Germany my new qth was located in a valley with real bad VHF-Conditions. I built up a 11el for 2m and a 23el for 70cm but only made some qso.

21.03.2015 I am preparing my move to south Germany end of June this year. Building up antennas will start in 2016.

1st June 2016 I am retired! Time for hobby, so I immediately started to prepare a application to build up a tower.

28.07.2016 first qso from Muhr ! Time without HF has ended. Only a FD4 windom antenne, ends still on the ground, but a start has been made!

14th September 2016 a Big Wheel antenna for 2m, a omnidirectional antenne with horizontal polarization, 7m above ground. So at least I can start a little bit with activities at my favorite band. Already worked two stations over a distance of more than 400 km. Not bad for a Big Wheel. Station for 2m: Flex-5000A + Beko HLV-750 + Big Wheel (with maximum 400w). For shortwave a TS-2000. But my attempt to put the Big Wheel antenna on the roof failed. After standing one meter on the roof, I decided that I am too old to climb on a roof with 45 degree angle.  :-(

30th October 2016 FD4 is down and I pulled up a loop antenna with 87m wire at 4 pools around the house. This loop antenna is working very well :-)

4th November 2016 I got my Big Wheel for 2m on the roof, so now it is 10m above ground and worked well in the VHF Marconi-Contest. And for shortwave now a pa with 400w.

Still only having my Big Wheel antenna for 2m but with growing dx virus at Dec 14th 2016 I tried MS. Received a cq of LZ2FO/2, answered and finally achieved a qso ! KN14KA - 1089km with my Big Wheel only!

So after this success my dx virus grew even faster and I tried what else is possible. Of course I as well as the other stations needed a lot of patience but so I had some more ms qso:
21.12.2016 G4CDN     JO02SS     759km
01.01.2017 GW4BVE  IO82KQ  1047km
03.01.2017 LY2WR     KO24FO  1119km
05.01.2017 YU1EV     KN04CN   885km
08.03.2017 LZ2FO      KN13KX  1091km
Not bad for a single Big Wheel antenna isnt it :-)
But situation will very soon be better, there is something growing in the garden behind the house ...
30th July 2017 my dream came true, a 17m Versatower BP60 with antenna groups! (see page mastproject).
Now I am back again in VHF/UHF!
