7 August 2010 theThailand ham radio license authority approved the use of the call sign E2E for all modes and on HF;  full details on RAST English language Web site, www.qsl.net/rast/.

E2E can be operated by Club members in any contest.

NOTE THE ADDRESS ABOVE DOES NOT RECEIVE MAIL;  IT IS THE LOCATION OF THE RAST CLUB STATION.   DIRECT MAIL GOES TO E21EIC, club secretary.devil

E2E was the brainchild of Charly, HS0ZCW,angry who sought a short length call sign for contests and DXing in representing Thailand on an equal basis like other one by one call signs of other nations. Mr. John, HS1CHB,wink took the proposal to the authorities and shepherded the paperword to success. The national club, the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand (RAST) is the call host. RAST's main club call sign is HS0AC. RAST president and some members assisted.

E2E does not replace any other call sign.  QSL requests go to E21EIC devilas per qrz.com, buro or direct.

A newly assigned short call sign to the Thailand DX club is E2X.  Both E2E and E2X are current legal call signs.

RAST has a Web site in English (www.qsl.net/rast/) and another in Thai.
