I have been interested in radio since I was a small boy playing with crystal sets and modified valve radios to listen to the amateur bands. I became licensed about 30 years ago with the call G1PYI. I have had a lot of fun and met a lot of interesting people both on and off air. I operate phone, RTTY and CW on all HF bands 80M to 70CM.

Due to local planning restrictions my  antennas are all located in the atic/loft. I have manged to fit  80M,40M,20M and 17M dipoles sharing a common feed point  coax fed  and a 6M and 4M full size virtical  loop. A morotised vertical mobile antenna 2M in height covering 30 to 10 meter bands. All are connected to  auto ATUs. I work on all bands from 80 to 6 Metres. Also located in the loft/attic are two VHF/UHF verticals which cover 6M to 70 CM.

I am about 650ft above sea level and have a good take off to the North, South and West. There is a large range of Hills to the East so this is a less favourable direction on VHF but HF works fine..

Hope to meet up with you somtime on the bands
