I have been licensed in 1992 after completing the 9 month City and Guilds Radio Amateur Radio Course. My first class B call sign was G7DIP, I was then issued with G0RMA on passing the morse test in 1995.
I work at Cotswold Airport (EGBP) formerly RAF Kemble, where I provide an Air Traffic Service, I also hold a Civil Aviation Authority Engineering PTC licence and have been providing ATC engineering at the British Grand Prix Heliport for the last 14years.
Family takes most of my time, but I look forward to riding my BMW R1200GS whenever I can
Current set up is an ICOM 706GII Cushcraft R6000 and 20m Delta :Loop, 20M dipole and now a G4TPH Mag Loop.
Also have ICOM 756 Pro, Full size 40m Delta Loop.
