Packet Radio
I am SysOp of
GB7CIP International IP AX25 BBS PACTOR and Internet Gateway 
from 29.1.1995 and still operational CRCHAT AX25 AmprNet IP, HF Pactor Host/BBS

GB7CR Node AX25 IP 30.3.1990 to 5.3.2015 was operational until 5 March 2015. 
When we had to change callsign for packet node to MB7NCR
MB7NCR 6.3.2015 and still operational.                          

Got hooked on Packet Radio in 1984-1986 using Cambridge Packet running on a BBC B Computer.

Have been running AX25 IP based Packet Radio Systems (Services) since 1986 runnning on
PC Clones and Linux from 1994.

My Interest is in providing network links and assisting, supporting others with technical issues where I think I can help and setting up nodes and connections. For all Radio Amateur's to use. 

I am aslo one of the Amprnet UK SubNet Co-ordinators  looking after :-
Surrey, West Sussex, London Home Counties
South Hampshire and South Wiltshire. 

If you are in the UK and  need help re amprnet IP addresses and connecting a linux AX25 IP node system to the amprnet, I am happy to assist you. Just ask.

How can I get started on the Amprnet, Packet Radio as Internet only, Radio Only, Internet and Radio integration.

Enjoy the WorldWideConvers WWC one to one, many to one real time contacts via the Amprnet and GB7CIP-5 gateway..
Including HF PACTOR one to one QSO's, either via GB7CIP's HF PACTOR Gateway or on
14.109.1MHz Mark QRG (Dial 14.107.5MHz USB)  monitoring for CQ's.

Monitor amprnet (AmateurRadioPacketNETwork) World Wide Convers Channel 11 (Not always near the keyboad) which I have experiemented with since the late 1980's

I am always looking for new HF PACTOR AX25 forwarding partners for GB7CIP.

Despite all the above, I still enjoy HF SSB Rag Chews and DX chasing (when in the DX mood) 14, 21 and  28MHz and Supporting the Caterham Radio Group G0SCR/GX0SCR club activities.
