Hello, thank you for looking me up on qrz.com.

Newington village was founded in Roman times as Roman station Durolevum. In Saxon times it was known as Neweton. It is located in JO01II, and WAB TQ86. The village spans the main A2 road from London to Dover, approximately halfway between the towns of Rainham and Sittingbourne. Newington is  about 35 miles ESE from London on the south side of the river Thames and River Medway estuary.

I enjoy operating with RTTY, PSK31, SSB, JT65, WSPR, FT8 and sometimes CW on HF. You may also find me on 6m, 2m, and 70cms SSB or FM.

My CW is very slow so please be patient with me. I also operate 160m on A.M. around 1.966MHz on Tuesday evenings.

My HF Aerial is Hustler 5BTV modified to run on 160m.

magnetic loop 20-30-40 metres,

3 element beam for 6 metres

vertical colinear for 2metres and 70cm

I am on WSPR with a U3 with a 1 transistor PA, now on low power around 100mW. The U3 has its TX frequency stabilized using the OCXO and time locked to GPS. On 20m 14.097014MHz,  and 15m 21.096035 with trapped dipole inside roof of my house. I am on other bands with the 5BTV outdoor antenna.

Thanks for calling me. 73.
